I don't get it. Why can there be a infinite instances of the UW or Fow be made for every solo-farmer out there, but the servers can't handle a lot of AB's? Instead of spawning 24 seperate instances for 1 player only, encompassing a huge (PvE) area, the servers now only need to spawn only one relatively small area for 24 players once. I've never seen any evidence about there being a limit on server-size, and the only times I had to wait to enter a battle is because there weren't many people.

Excuse me? There's no server limitation on alliance battles. Wherever did you get that idea?

Wait, to begin with, AB faction rewards was gonna double from 1,250 per win to 2,500 per win, now it's down to 2,000? I'm not complaining though, just trying to clarify. My only beef is that the Kurzick/Luxon alliance faction cap of 10,000 should be increased.

Well now wait a minute...

That says 2000 instead of 250, not 1250. Double would only be an additional 500, and you're now going to get an extra 1500 on top of that. Which is fine. Just means that towns will be more expensive (not that I care), Jade and Amber will be cheaper (again, I don't really care), and people will be getting easier titles (friends of Luxon/Kurzick - still don't care).

Only reason I play AB is because it can be fun, which this doesn't change, and as a more pleasant way to get some Balthazar Faction, which is now not going to change. This weekend now means nothing to me, except maybe more people playing - yay. Ah well, even still, it's a pretty decent weekend event. Have fun everyone!

Hmm, maybe I can stock up on enough jade so that I don't have to farm it ever again?

I don't want to seem like I am complaining but I would have liked this to include FA and JQ, I say this because JQ is only really played during double faction reward weeksnds.

Well, over all I am excited for this weekend!

It's ambiguous I've always thought of winning = 1250 faction + scraps from kills. Now I've read about it, you get 2 faction per point scored so the winning score of 500 nets 1000 faction. Then there's 250 bonus faction that goes to the winner. Apparently this bonus faction of 250 becomes 2000, so the total amount a winning team can get is > 3000? O.o

Argh, I've taken a break from AB and now they come with this weekend? Time to dust off my ele so it seems . Boa sins beware, here is uncle blinding flash! I like that they reward winning extra, maybe people will try harder, AB needs people that try harder very much.
I'm not too afraid of leechers, it has been OK as of late, people pay more attention when they make teams to begin with. If you ask someone a question and he/she doesn't answer just kick him, people like that are likely to be AFK or plain stupid.

What BoA sins? They've all morphed into bizarre Deadly Arts builds now. I saw a few yesterday... all trying to use hex based off-hands. The smart ones use Siphon Speed, although there was 1 using Enduring Toxin who chased me till it was about to wear off, tried to hit me and it failed, lol. Seriously the Assassins just aren't a threat anymore.

I like the change to the weekend event. This will definatly make leeching very useless since your team will probably lose and you'll miss out on the 2000 faction boost. This is actually 1 of the smartest things Anet have done for quite a while now, i hope the 'mid june update' will follow on.

Thanks for the info Gaile. I've always had people tell me that there were only 5 AB servers, but never knew where they got their info from...

Just a question though, when there are large groups on both sides, why do I still have to wait 10 minutes (or longer) to get into a game sometimes?
